Our partners in Madeira are focused on finding the physical barriers that people encounter in their daily lives and strive to eliminate or at least minimize them. In order to achieve this goal, they have provided themselves with specific equipment, such as adapted vehicles for transfer services, folding ramps and an “off-road” wheelchair, unique in Portugal.

All-Terrain Wheelchair Option 

It is possible to do the following tours with a manual/electric chair or electric scooter with some limitations in the accesses to the places. Contact us for more information.

Cruise passengers

Customers who need the pick up from Porto Do Funchal must send in advance: 

  • Boat Name
  • Name of Passengers
  • The cabin they are staying in
  • Measurements of the manual or electric wheelchairs, and photos if possible.

Important information 

We strongly recommend that the customer use our equipment. Many of the routes are not prepared for manual chairs and electric chairs. Our equipment is prepared to do all the terrain, to climb stairs.


We are not responsible if the customer’s equipment fails, runs out of battery power, or bogs down.

Tours can be canceled or changed due to weather conditions, unique reasons, or security issues. For those mentioned case, there is the opportunity to reschedule the tour or refund the money.

The Madeira Botanical Garden, located in Funchal, has more than 2000 exotic plants from all over the world. This fantastic Garden has several ornamental trees and shrubs, an orchid area, lawns, viewpoints, and an arena for recreational activities.
